Abuse, addiction, depression, divorce, sickness, loss of a loved one, and financial despair are some of the things that can leave you feeling broken and hopeless. Even the most faithful Christian can encounter a season of sadness and depression. No one is immune from facing hardships or challenges.

In the middle of a storm, you can panic and give up hope, or you can give your burdens to God and pray for His mercy, grace, and healing.

My Struggle, His Glory contains testimonies from 40 different people. Their testimonies show how God brought them through the worst times of their lives, and how they are able to praise God for what He has done in their lives. Even though every story involves a personal struggle, they all have two other common themes: hope and praise.

"A definite must read!"

I started reading this book last night and had to make myself stop (over halfway) and go to bed. It is so well written and put together. The testimony from each person had to be such a difficult time in their lives but so uplifting to see God’s grace in each one. It has reminded me of some of my own difficulties and how God brought me through them. I can’t wait to read more!

"Inspirational"

I'm almost finished reading this book, and I wish it were twice as lengthy. I'm not a 'recreational reader', so it's rare for me to enjoy one as much as I have in this experience. Incrementally, it's been a continual source of inspiration and faith renewal. A special thanks to Boyd Deal for his efforts, and to all contributors for the courage to be bold and transparent. It's refreshing to enjoy a book that has the 'life effect' of this one.
